Cookie Policy

What the El Dragón Cojo website stores in your browser and why.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. Together with similar technologies (such as the browser's local storage), they let the site remember information between pages or visits.

What we do NOT use

This site does not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies, nor does it embed social-network trackers. That's why we don't show an "Accept / Reject" consent banner: all the storage we use is technical or remembers choices you make, and the law (Art. 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI) does not require consent for what is necessary for the service you request.

What we DO use

Everything is first-party (the site's own) and is not shared with third parties:

NamePurposeDurationType
Session (sb-…-auth-token)Keep you signed inUntil you log outNecessary
Service worker (sw.js)Show you phone notifications if you turn them on, without storing data or pagesUntil you clear the site's dataFunctional
drc-langRemember your languagePersistentFunctional
drc-rendimientoRemember how many effects this device can handle, so it is not measured on every visitOne monthFunctional
dcc-portada-diaShow you the Codex cover once a day instead of on every pageOne dayFunctional
dcc-invocacionNot repeat the dragon's summoning on the home page, which you see the first time you open the CodexPersistentFunctional
dcc-mandamientosRemember that you accepted the Commandments, which open the community's chat channelsPersistentFunctional
dcc-arquimedes-callaRemember that you asked Archimedes, the owl on the home page, to be quietPersistentFunctional
drc-contact-lastThrottle repeated submissions of the contact formPersistentNecessary
drc-trozo-recargaAvoid reloading in a loop if part of the site fails to downloadUntil you close the tabNecessary

All of the above lives in this browser's storage and nowhere else. Nothing travels as a cookie: only the session is sent to our own server, so it knows it's you, and the rest stays on your device. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes all of it at once.

Fonts and icons

Fonts and icons are served from our own domain (no longer from Google Fonts or third-party CDNs), so loading them involves no third-party request or transfer of your IP.

How to manage them

You can delete or block the site's storage from your browser settings. Note that, since it is functional, removing it will lose preferences such as your language, and you may have to log in again.
